Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Nufa app, operated by an independent developer based in Singapore (“Nufa”, “we”). By using Nufa you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Nufa.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nufa for personal, non-commercial language learning.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- abuse, automate, or overload our AI or catalogue services;
- exceed or circumvent usage quotas;
- scrape or reverse engineer the app;
- import unlawful content; or
- use Nufa to infringe anyone else’s rights.
5. AI features & disclaimer
Translations, explanations, and page analyses are generated automatically by third-party AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided “as is” for learning assistance only and are not professional translation or advice. You are responsible for any reliance on AI output.
6. Your content
Books you import and the vocabulary and quotes you save remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the service, including sending text you select to our AI provider to generate results. You confirm that you have the right to import and use any content you add.
7. Catalogue & copyright
Nufa offers classic books that are in the public domain in the United States. Copyright status varies by country — a work that is free in the US may still be under copyright where you live, and translations may carry their own copyright. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any work is lawful in your jurisdiction.
8. Subscriptions & billing
Nufa offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Price, duration, and included features are shown before you purchase. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
9. Cancellation & refunds
Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies — Nufa does not process payments or refunds directly.
10. Intellectual property
Nufa, its design, brand, and software are owned by us. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property beyond the licence above.
11. Disclaimers & liability
Nufa is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using Nufa and delete your account at any time.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the courts of Singapore.
